Ozark Mah Jongg
Mats made out of family things — the Winslow 1920 crane adapted from a 1968 silk scarf that belonged to their mother, the Baker and Carson patterns drawn from worn Persian medallion rugs — printed on low-pile chenille over a non-skid rubber back so they can be washed and rolled. It began with teaching neighbours around a card table, and the pieces are meant to be played on rather than kept nice.
