What is free, and what is not
Most of this site is free and stays free. A membership will come later, built around one thing that does not exist yet. This page says plainly which is which, so nobody enters a collection by hand without knowing what is coming.
The catalog is free
All of it, with no account, and it will stay that way.
Your collection is free
No limit on pieces, and we will not put what you have already entered behind a payment later.

When it opens
Not until the gallery is real
The membership is being built around a gallery of these pieces in real rooms, searchable by something you already own. None of it exists yet, so none of it is for sale yet — selling a membership while every member feature is unbuilt is selling an IOU.
Founding

For the first one hundred collectors, and never charged again — not when the recurring price starts, not after. The price is not settled yet.
Afterwards
$5 a month
Or $45 a year. This starts only once the gallery has shipped, and founding members are never folded into it.
Collectors who are already here will hear first. An account is free and is the only list that matters for this.
